    • Unlimited income potential however our current growth strategy hits $60k-$80k/year in pay.
    • Base salary between $2,500 and $3,500/month depending on sales and digital marketing experience.

What You Are Passionate About:

Helping small and medium sized businesses get an amazing return on their digital marketing spend.

Ok, that sounds real nice but here’s what we’re up against.

The vast majority of small and medium businesses invest in marketing that they have no idea if it’s working.

The common saying is, “I know 50% of my marketing is working but I don’t know what 50%.”

In 2018, I know of small businesses that still invest $1k’s of dollars each month in yellow pages for fear of changing anything.

And digital marketing is even more scary for many businesses.

Our industry has gotten a horrible rep with scammers, spammers, and perennial over-promisers.
Most speak in industry jargon using acronyms that no one understand and then touting performance metrics that don’t move the needle.

But it doesn’t have to be this way…

Using science, psychology, automation and an killer team, we utilize WordPress websites, Google and Bing ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, email marketing, and any other online tool we can to generate a predictable flow of leads for our clients.

We’re not in the website selling business.

We’re in the lead generation business – we just happen to use websites and digital marketing to do it.

More importantly, we create a SYSTEM for each of our clients to help them answer the most important marketing question they have in their local market…

Why am I telling you all this on a job application?

Because, to be the perfect fit for our team and to be wildly successful, what I just described should get you very, very excited!

In an industry ripe with charlatans, it’s EXCITING to stand out as a team and business that’s different because we under-promise and over-deliver.

The Big Picture:

We have more inquiries and opportunities than we can handle.
And we currently do almost no marketing…

However, we need to do more inbound marketing and systematize things like testimonial and referral gathering.

We have opportunities to position ourselves with experts by giving speeches, writing blogs and magazine articles, and getting interviewed on podcasts.

We also have several strategies for outbound marketing that we don’t have time to get started but could start bringing in leads.

We need your help to find the best opportunities and leverage them to build a pipeline of leads and sales.

Ultimately, the goal is to build this into a full Sales/Marketing team.

You’re the first person we need to get that started.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Selling – You’ll receive leads or will be generating them yourself. You’ll need to determine the client’s core problems, align a solution, and communicate that we’re the best option for them (but only if we ARE the best option for them), and sign them on as a client.
  2. Relationship Management – In the sales process, you will be doing all of the discovery so as we onboard the client, you need to ensure that all of our promises are being met and facilitate the hand-off to the account Optimizer.
  3. Inbound Marketing – We’re a digital marketing company. You will need to use LinkedIn, email marketing, Skype, Google Hangouts, blog posts and other digital tools to highlight our combined credibility and skills.

Your Skills:

  1. You put other people first. Most of us are not born with this. It’s a skill. And it’s one you’ve cultivated.
  2. The best salespeople ask the best questions and this is a unique and hard to develop skill you’ve mastered.
  3. As a digital marketing company, the majority of our communication is via email, IM, text and in published articles like Blogs, Case Studies, White Papers, etc. You are a prolific writer with proven results. Bonus points if you’re an NLP purveyor!
  4. Our clients don’t care about Click-Thru-Rates and Impression Share. They care about we can help their business grow and you need to get that point across by weaving in great stories they can connect with.
  5. There are people who are great at making friends and others who are great at closing deals. You do both.
  6. Though this skill is not strictly necessary, we have opportunities for public speaking and it’s the perfect opportunity to set ourselves up as the experts so people are knocking on our door instead of the other way around.
  7. You are a person of gratitude and reciprocal respect with an understanding that you have something to learn from everyone you encounter.
  8. You are highly competitive and thrive under pressure.
  9. When you are with someone, you are with them – you don’t obsessively look at your phone or watch the people around you – you look into the eyes of the person you are speaking with and make a strong connection.
  10. You listen with the intent to learn.
  11. You set goals backed up by strong habits and accountability to continually push-the-envelope of comfortability for you and your team.
  12. You walk a challenging line between humility and confidence and between patience and grit.
