Optimized Marketing has been dominating local search rankings since 2011. We have taken over and successfully improved the rankings of every client we have ever taken on.

Our success is based on our unique strategy that independently evaluates each account based on the value of each term not just the traffic potential.

We utilize PPC data and customer lifetime value to most accurately determine keyword value and then evaluate a few key areas of each site.

Our process can include the following steps.

  1. Define the keywords most important to rank based on potential lead generation value not simply keyword click costs.
  2. Start measuring current results to determine areas for improvement.
  3. Analyze the client site as well as the top competitors ranking ahead of them on over 100 aspects of SEO to determine where the gaps are.
  4. Apply the easiest and lowest cost improvements based on split-tested SEO strategies. In other words, we apply the changes that have been scientifically verified through SEO split-tests to help improve rankings.
  5. If necessary, implement a link building strategy.

In addition, for local businesses we integrate a Google My Business strategy which includes our proprietary GMB monitoring software, powerful review gathering strategies, GMB impression and conversion data, and SERP tracking. We’ve seen service industries traffic and conversions 3-4x from GMB in the last few years as Google has become better at realizing when a searcher is likely interested in a local business.

As part of our initial analysis, we noticed that they had a large number of backlinks, however, they were not transferring that link quality to the highest value keywords and landing pages. We optimized their site structure taking into account the value of each backlink and were able to get dramatic improvements in just 1 month… without needing additional backlinks.

If you follow along to month 2 you can see how much we were able to improve by adding a few high quality guest posts. We knew that once we optimized their site structure, we would be able to see another increase by adding powerful, niche-related links to the website. You can see the jaw-dropping results below:

This was at the very beginning of the account, but now after almost 2 years you can see that the graph has continued to grow over the years. Take note, the first few months we were just observing their old company and then we took over in late January of 2018:

These improved rankings on high value terms lead to a 52% increase in Organic Users by the end of the first year:

These dramatic results aren’t uncommon and they are very dramatic. This happens from time to time but it is not always. Sometimes it takes a bit more consistency and time.

Here is another example with a more normal rise on a brand new domain and website. It rose 30% over 3 months, but it was ALREADY RANKING VERY WELL when we took it over.

In this case, improving their URL strings and giving them links from a couple of neighboring local sites did the trick in improving their rankings. We also made some on-page copy updates to take them up a notch from where they came in ranking.
